Archie Signature arrived safely and is installed. It replaced an Audioquest Carbon coaxial.
The differences are subtle initially, however on extended listening (and this is only a few hours) the subtleties start to reveal themselves as important and significant.
More expressive presentation on vocals and instrument playing and interplay showing nuances not apparent to me previously.
In other circumstances the description of “subtle” might be regarded as a small difference, here it means an elevation of performance that doesn’t seek to show off volume or deep bass but delicately raise presentation overall whatever the music.
It is a gentleman of a cable, with etiquette.
